Ryton & Crawcrook Albion suffered an opening-day defeat in the EBAC Northern Football League Division 2 as they went down to a 1-0 loss at Bedlington Terriers on Saturday.
A late strike from substitute MacKenzie Sharpe clinched the win for the Terriers moments after the hosts had a Andrew Burn penalty saved by Albion 'keeper Josh Graham.
