Rejog your memory as we look back at some of the key battles between the two sides in recent years
RACA travel to familiar opposition in Birtley Town on Saturday having been in the same division as the Hoops for 5 of the past 7 seasons.
The Albion have a slight historical advantage heading into the clash having won five of the nine times they have met, with Birtley winning four.
However, RACA have failed to win at the Birtley Sports Complex Stadium for almost five years, with a 2-1 victory back in October 2015 being the last time we picked up three points on their turf.
Some of the RACA faithful may even remember a horror performance back in November 2014 when braces for Alex Peake and Mark Bailes handed us a 5-1 league defeat - certainly a day that has been long forgotten.
Birtley have proved a stern test on the two occasions we have welcomed them to Kingsley Park this season, as they took us to penalties in the EAM Cup & picked up a 2-0 league victory back in September.
Before that disappointing result in September, RACA had been unbeaten in their previous six games against the Hoops in all competitions, and will certainly see the reverse fixture as an opportunity to revenge.
It is billed to be an even and entertaining battle when the two sides meet tomorrow afternoon.
