RACA BOSS REMAINS POSITIVE RACA BOSS REMAINS POSITIVE

Gaffer Tony Fawcett has fired out a positive message on social media ahead of this weekend’s trip to Birtley Town.

RACA have been poor in their last two league fixtures, suffering back-to-back defeats for the second time this season, but this has not dented the boss’ belief ahead of the rest of the campaign.

In a message on Twitter, Fawcett said:

I know we’ve had a few difficult results lately but I love how far we have come as a club. The fact that nearly every team we play sees us as a big team in the division and a massive scalp. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve by the end of the season.”

The tweet received a positive response from the club’s following, with some highlighting just how far the Albion have come in recent seasons. Coach Mark Bullock added some humour to the situation with a light-hearted reply to the manager:

This weekend’s opponents also head into Saturday’s clash having lost back-to-back league fixtures, and they even reacted to Fawcett’s message, pointing out that our current form shouldn’t be too much of a concern due to us still sitting 4th placed in the league.

You can see RACA take on The Hoops this weekend, at the Birtley Sports Complex on Saturday.
