FA END 2019-20 SEASON FOR ALL STEP 3-7 LEAGUES WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
Albion's and many other clubs' season has come to an abrupt end as the Football Association decided that all step 3-7 leagues' seasons would end forthwith and the records expunged. It was also decided there would be no promotion or relegation to and from the Northern League. So there you have it, no doubt there will be further announcements from the FA plus much debate as clubs like Stockton Town and West Allotment are amongst the big losers in this as are the likes of South Shields further up the pyramid. Presumably the Ernest Armstrong Cup will be a casualty too and of course we were just one game away from another final appearance. We'll update the site with any relevant fall out of this decision but in the mean time keep safe and look forward to seeing you back at The Albion when things normalise again.
