Take a look elsewhere in the Northern League Division 2 with our weekly results round-up...
Easington Colliery missed the chance to go top of the Northern League Division 2 and they were surprisingly beaten 3-0 at home to Chester le Street.
A quick-fire double after the break from the Cestrians’ Liam Dixon gave them a two-goal advantage before Danny Hepplewhite added another late on to cement a commanding victory at Moor Park.
Durham City got the monkey off their back as they got off the mark in an entertaining 2-2 draw at home to Tow Law Town, with D’Andre Wainwright bagging a late equaliser to send a buzz around Hall Lane for the first time this campaign.
It was a similar story for RACA as we lost late on once again despite being 1-0 up at the break. A late winner from substitute Blake Wood handed Albion another defeat which leaves us sitting just one point above the bottom three.
The game of the weekend was Heaton Stannington’s emphatic turnaround to win 4-2 away at Esh Winning.
With the Stan trailing 2-0, a second-half comeback saw Derek Thompson’s side travel back to the east end of Newcastle with all three points in the bag and four superb goals to boot.
